Dive Deep, Fly High | Print |  Email

So much more challenging, so much more courage

required to sit uncomfortably in the depths

than to run back to my favorite beliefs.

Ideas--so comforting, so confining.

Feelings--so vague, so boundless.

Inspiration--the best of both:

free,  alive,  light,  clear,

carrying me across skies

into heavens here

very near

The deeper your belly can laugh, the higher your spirit can soar (the more the crown chakra can open). The more you are able to let go, the more you are able to let God (your higher self) perform all sorts of minor and major miracles.

The measure of life is how deep you dive and how high you fly.

Meditate on light while allowing energy to well up from below. Realize that the mystic marriage of male and female is not a process of meditation, but a timeless moment of absolute relaxation while consciousness expands. Let go and live.

Surrender into the depths of your being. As in shifting polarity, the more you can relax into sacred silence (unmanifest/shiva/god energy), the more the kundalini (creative/shakti/goddess energy) ascends into the light of awareness.

The male and female within just want to be in love. The belly and the heart want to unite in the lighted eye. The will wants to unite with the Way. All of your many personalities want to harmonize in one beautiful song.

Note: Some parts of this book will be meaningful only if you courageously enter the laboratory of the soul during meditation. So dive deep, fly high. In the Center is the end.

In our entanglements we lose all sense
of the magic, the mystery--sacred silence.

Simple Joy

Simple joy is the symphony of inner silence, the pleasure of heartfelt touch, the taste of sparkling mountain water. It is everything natural within and without. Simple joy knows what is essential for your health and happiness, and what entangles your peaceful soul. Simple joy knows what leads to love and wisdom, and what leads to illusory goals.

Simple joy is appreciating the details we miss
when we are in a hurry going somewhere else.

Find ways of bringing nature into your daily environment. Surround yourself with all the elements: earth (plants, ceramics, rock gardens), water (fountains, pure drinking water), fire (candles, gold accents on art and clothing), air (fresh air or air-cleaning machines), and ether (spiritual art and music).

Simplify your lifestyle so that you have more time for important things. Learn to say no to situations that will entangle you.

Caught in your web of trying, you become more entangled.

Until you know what is limited and alienates the simple joy of the soul, you cannot enter the Limitless. In play is God.

A good sign:
Being happy for no reason at all.

Tickling Your Self

If there is a reason for your happiness, then there exists attachment. Eventually, the happiness will lead to its opposite--sadness. So if something is missing inside, or out of balance, surrender into the Self and AAAH. If you totally relax and awaken, you will feel something laugh inside: HAHAHA.

The slightest inner tension is a tickle, a message
to let go of something easily and immediately.

As you go deeply within your Self and your cells, tickling yourself becomes essential to keep growing and glowing.

The deeper within you go, the more alchemical keys
you must master to keep energy accelerating.

When you find yourself in a "heavy" situation, wave your magic wand and miraculously transform yourself into a sprite of delight or a Laughing Buddha; or dive into the Big Belly Laugh.

Let go of beliefs that meditation is difficult and takes years to master, and see life as only this moment. In this moment, you are either happy with the state that you are in--or not. When happy, enjoy happiness--no need to question bliss.

Laughing Bellies Unite!

Laughing Bellies see through superficiality of all sorts. Sometimes they mimic our foolishness to awaken us, or stand naked just to shock us. They realize that who we are now is all we have and all we need, and so it is pointless to blame or feel shame.

Laughing Bellies embrace sadness to discover genuine joy. They live beyond the games of pretence and pasted-on smiles.

We hide from life when we cannot feel pain,
then try to be happy by playing the "positive" game.

Laughing Bellies see the humor intrinsic to every situation. They laugh at all philosophies--especially their own. Laughing Bellies allow, allow, allow--not trying to change perfection.

Trying to change what has happened is futile.
Trying to improve the universe is foolish.

Laughing Bellies surrender to what is before them. This opens all their chakras, so wherever they are is heaven. They simply marvel at the astonishing diversity of life. They know that the greatest thing that they can do is to be an example of love.

Laughing Bellies are not complacent or afraid to make changes in society. They just see through the madness of mindless striving and consumerism. As the Laughing Buddha said: "No expectations, no disappointments. End desires, end suffering."

The need for Laughing Bellies increases as humankind becomes more involved with machines, as people overuse their heads and forget their bodies--creating prisons in their minds. Exercise will not be enough for balance: the belly must jiggle, the heart must open--the spirit was born to fly. Social humor and sarcasm do not have the healing power of belly laughter, nor the pure energy to catch the upward spiral of ascending awareness (the kundalini).

Cleverness is wisdom struggling.
